‘Klar’ documentary magazine expands with new host Tanit Koch in 2026
NDR's deputy program director, Juliane von Schwerin, has confirmed the continuation of the popular documentary magazine 'Klar'. The format will now be produced alternately by NDR and BR, starting from 2026. Tanit Koch, a versatile journalist, will take over as the moderator and editorial contributor for NDR's episodes.
Von Schwerin expressed satisfaction with the move, noting that the new location in the society department is beneficial. Koch's diverse experiences and opinionated moderation style are expected to strengthen the profile of the 'Klar' format. The collaboration between NDR and BR in producing 'Klar' began in April 2025.
The magazine, known for addressing controversial societal issues, will increase its number of episodes. In the future, 'Klar' will be responsible for NDR's society program.
With Tanit Koch at the helm and increased episodes, 'Klar' is set to continue its role in sparking debate and exploration of societal controversies. The collaboration between NDR and BR ensures a diverse range of perspectives in the production of the documentary magazine.
