Komi Launches Business Grants for Veterans Without Income Checks
Veterans of combat operations, participants in the special military operation, as well as their unemployed or job-seeking spouses who are registered as first- or second-group disabled will be eligible for financial assistance under a social contract without means-testing their family income.
The initiative aims to encourage individual entrepreneurial activity.
The bill was adopted at a session of the State Council of Komi on April 23.
Earlier, four participants in the special military operation from three districts of Komi had already chosen to use the social contract program to develop their own businesses.
