Krasnodar Krai's consumer sector booms with record growth in 2025
Krasnodar Krai’s consumer sector has seen strong growth in 2025, with turnover rising by 4.6% to 5.7 trillion rubles. Tax revenues also climbed by 5.1%, reaching 94 billion rubles. Officials have now recognised the region’s top-performing businesses in the industry. The sector employs 627,000 people across nearly 91,000 businesses—one in five of the region’s economically active residents. Roman Kurinny, head of Krasnodar Krai’s Department of Consumer Services, highlighted the achievements of professionals driving this growth.
Winners were selected based on strict criteria. These included legal compliance, customer convenience, financial stability, and the use of local products. The awards covered retail trade, food service, consumer services, roadside assistance, and leading fairs and auto centres. Krasnodar Krai currently leads Russia in the number of fairs held. It also ranks third in retail and consumer services turnover and fourth in food service revenue.
The region’s consumer sector continues to expand, with rising revenues and employment. The latest awards reflect its competitive position in retail, services, and local trade. Officials expect sustained growth in the coming years.
