Kristians Jenčiuss takes helm at Startup House Riga to fuel local innovation
Startup House Riga has appointed Kristians Jenčiuss as its new CEO. The organisation, co-founded by Andris K. Bērziņš, will now focus on expanding its support for local startups. Funding from RITA will help drive this growth over the next three years.
Jenčiuss brings experience from founding startups, raising capital, and working in both hospitality and finance. He has stated his commitment to strengthening Startup House Riga and achieving new goals with the team.
RITA’s co-financing will enable the organisation to offer more resources to startups. Members will gain access to knowledge-sharing programmes and networking events. This support follows TechHub Riga’s recognised contributions to the region’s startup ecosystem. As CEO, Jenčiuss will oversee the rollout of the new support programme. The funding is expected to help Startup House Riga take on larger projects and increase its impact.
The three-year funding plan from RITA will provide stability for Startup House Riga. Startups joining as members can now benefit from expanded training and networking opportunities. Jenčiuss’s leadership aims to build on the organisation’s existing work and foster further growth.
