More than a month after a violent assault on a sex worker in Leipzig, authorities have launched a public appeal to identify the attacker. According to police, the unknown man visited the 26-year-old woman in an apartment roughly four weeks ago before suddenly turning violent. Investigators are treating the case as an attempted homicide.
A witness came to the victim's aid, prompting the assailant to flee—but not before being captured on camera. The attacker also sustained scratch marks on his neck during the struggle. Police are now urging the public to assist in identifying the still-unknown suspect.
