Lörrach Launches €1,000 Grants for Volunteer-Led Community Projects
Up to €1,000 for New Volunteer Projects: Lörrach District Launches Funding Initiative Under the Motto "Power of Community – Side by Side for You and Me"
The district of Lörrach is once again offering financial support for creative and innovative projects that strengthen community life in the region.
According to the district administration, clubs, institutions, organizations, and grassroots initiatives can each apply with one project proposal. To qualify, the initiative must be volunteer-based, non-commercial, and not scheduled to begin before May 1, 2026. The application deadline is April 1, 2026.
In early April, the steering committee for civic engagement—chaired by District Administrator Marion Dammann—will decide on funding allocations. The committee includes representatives from all district council factions, the district administration, and engaged citizens from across Lörrach.
Further details on the call for proposals and application process are available online through the district's official website.
