On Thursday evening, a 34-year-old man fell victim to a so-called "romance scam." The man met a woman—or so he believed—on an online dating platform and arranged to meet her at Bultensee. Instead of the woman, three unknown assailants appeared, suddenly attacking him and stealing his wallet. The victim suffered a laceration to the back of his head, requiring outpatient hospital treatment.
Bremen Police have launched an investigation into robbery. Witnesses who may have seen anything in the area of Bultensee at the time of the incident are urged to contact the police's 24/7 criminal investigation unit with any information.
