Man released after surrendering in fatal assault case under self-defence claims
A 45-year-old man turned himself in to police on April 21. According to current findings, he is the suspect in a case of assault resulting in death. Police and prosecutors took the man into provisional custody.
Evidence emerged suggesting the incident may have involved self-defense. For this reason, the man was released from police custody on April 22.
The manhunt has therefore been concluded.
Additionally, police identified the alleged vehicle involved in the incident and its driver. Prosecutors and police have seized the vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing.
