Masked burglar flees after confronting bar owner in Langen
A masked burglar broke into a bar on Rheinstraße in Langen early Tuesday morning. The incident happened just before 6 a.m., when the suspect entered through a tilted window and unexpectedly found the owner inside. Police are now searching for witnesses and asking the public for help.
The break-in took place shortly before dawn. The burglar climbed in through an open window but did not expect the bar owner to be present. A brief scuffle followed, forcing the suspect to abandon the robbery and flee.
Authorities have described the man as between 1.70 and 1.80 metres tall. He wore dark clothing and a balaclava, covering his face completely.
