Masked youths smash Lahr store window in early-morning perfume heist

A break-in at a retail store in Lahr's city center early Friday morning resulted in the theft of high-end perfumes. Around 1:50 a.m., three youths allegedly smashed a window of the shop on Marktstraße and made off with several bottles. The full extent of the damage has yet to be determined.

A witness reported confronting the suspected thieves, who then fled toward Roßplatz. The suspects are described as male teenagers, roughly 170 centimeters tall. Two are said to be slim, while the third is of stockier build. All three were dressed in dark clothing and wore masks or head coverings. One of the suspects reportedly escaped on an e-scooter.

Officers from Lahr police station have launched an investigation. Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to come forward.
