Nettetal's Paramedic Training Program Secures 10-Year Renewal Until 2036
Nettetal has secured a ten-year approval for its emergency medical services training program. The decision, announced in February 2026, ensures the city can continue shaping future paramedics. Officials praised the program's high standards and long-term dedication to emergency care. The city's previous approval, granted in 2020, expired in August 2025. To renew it, Nettetal underwent a rigorous review, proving its training met strict requirements. Inspectors noted excellent conditions, including well-trained staff, modern resources, and full compliance with regulations.
The program blends theory with hands-on experience. Trainees study in classrooms, work at an emergency station, and gain clinical practice in medical facilities. Currently, five students are midway through their three-year paramedic training under the city's guidance. Mayor Christian Küsters and First Deputy Mayor Andreas Rudolph welcomed the renewal. Both highlighted Nettetal's ongoing efforts to maintain top-tier emergency services and support the next generation of responders.
The renewed approval guarantees Nettetal's training program will run until at least 2036. It confirms the city's ability to provide skilled paramedics for the region. With five trainees already in progress, the program continues to strengthen local emergency care.
