Nizhny Novgorod Women's Council Unveils Support Plans for Vulnerable Groups in 2026

In April of this year, the Investigative Committee's regional branch in Nizhny Novgorod hosted another meeting of its Women's Council, chaired by Leisan Koshkina. The session reviewed the council's performance in the first quarter of 2026 and considered members' proposals for organizing events tied to upcoming holidays—Victory Day and Children's Day.

Participants also discussed support measures for veterans, affiliated institutions, families of fallen servicemembers from the special military operation, large families, low-income households, and other vulnerable groups, including refugees from the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as evacuees from the Kursk region.

The meeting concluded with a productive exchange of views and the adoption of a plan to carry out a series of initiatives.
