Public Forum Tackles War, Pandemic, and Church Scandals on April 27
On April 27, 2026, at 6 p.m., the regional bishop and peace envoy of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) will take questions from the public in the next Monday Dialogue. Topics will include war and peace, state elections, the legacy of the COVID-19 pandemic, cases of abuse within the Church, and the future of the Church and society.
The discussion will be moderated by Frieder Weigmann, press spokesperson for Diakonie Central Germany. Bring your questions and join the conversation! Admission is free, though donations are welcome.
