He holds three higher education degrees in law, economics, and philology, demonstrating a broad skill set.
Putin praised Korolev's success in his current role and expressed confidence in his ability to lead Tver Region. However, a disagreement exists between Korolev and the former governor regarding the route of the high-speed railway between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
