Police Seek Witnesses After Attempted Robbery in Seesen Park
Robbery attempt in Seesen Park leaves victim shaken but unharmed
Authorities are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery that took place early Thursday evening in the park of Seesen's hunting lodge (Jagdschloss).
At around 6:15 p.m., a 33-year-old local man was accosted on a park path by two young males who immediately demanded money. To intimidate their victim, the assailants shoved him in the chest and attempted to snatch his shopping bag. The man managed to resist, escape the situation, and alert police.

Goslar Criminal Police (Kripo) have launched an investigation into the attempted robbery and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with two individuals who walked past the victim and attackers during the incident. Prior to the assault, the suspects had followed their target near Gänsepforte and may have been noticed by passersby in the area.
