Oldenburg police probe two bold break-ins within days of each other
Oldenburg police have reported two separate break-ins within the span of a few days. According to the Oldenburg-Stadt/Ammerland police precinct, the first incident occurred at the Weser-Ems-Hallen exhibition grounds, where a storage container was broken into.
The perpetrators stole large quantities of soft drinks and spirits between March 24 at 2:00 PM and March 26 at 3:00 PM. The estimated damage amounts to a mid-four-figure sum.
A second break-in took place in the basement of a residential building in Oldenburg's city center. Between March 25 at 5:00 PM and March 26 at 3:00 PM, multiple doors were forced open, and several storage units were searched. Police have not yet determined the total extent of the damage.
Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious individuals or vehicles during the specified time frames to come forward.
