Russian TV legend Vladimir Molchanov dies unexpectedly at 73 in Israel
Vladimir Molchanov, a well-known Russian TV host, has died at the age of 73. His passing occurred on May 13 while he was visiting Israel. The trip was meant for professional engagements, not medical reasons. Molchanov travelled to Israel to give lectures and appear on a local Russian-language television programme. During his stay, he had plans to meet with notable figures in the region. Despite his busy schedule, he kept personal matters private.
Even when infected with COVID-19, he avoided speaking about his health. Arina Sharapova, a TV presenter who worked closely with him, confirmed that he never discussed any health concerns with her or in public. His death came unexpectedly while still in the country.
Molchanov’s death leaves behind a career marked by his work in Russian television. He maintained privacy about his health until the end, including during his final trip abroad. The circumstances of his passing remain tied to his professional visit to Israel.
