Russia's Women as Creators Award Opens for Fourth National Business Prestige

Women entrepreneurs in Sverdlovsk Region can now apply for the Fourth National Business Prestige: Women as Creators Award. The competition celebrates achievements across Russia and is open to business leaders in all 89 regions. Participation is free, with applications accepted through the award’s official website. The initiative forms part of the National Strategy for Women’s Interests and aligns with the Effective and Competitive Economy national project. Over the past three years, 65% of submissions came from women running companies in diverse industries.

Applicants will compete in 14 categories, including a newly introduced Creative Industries section. Projects will be judged on five criteria: innovation, social impact, economic efficiency, growth potential, and public engagement. The awards ceremony is scheduled for spring 2026 in Moscow. Alongside the event, a business programme will offer networking and development opportunities. Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, stated that the award recognises success while motivating future generations of women in business.

Candidates must submit their achievements and supporting documents via the award’s website. Winners will be announced at the Moscow ceremony, highlighting contributions to economic and social progress. The competition continues to expand, reflecting the growing role of women in Russia’s business landscape.
