Shed break-ins strike Schülldorf and Hassmoor in coordinated theft spree
Between March 21, 2026, and March 25, 2026, multiple thefts occurred from sheds—some of which were locked—in the municipalities of Schülldorf and Hassmoor. Police are now seeking witnesses or anyone with information.
Between March 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM, and March 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM, two sheds were broken into on Hauptstraße in Schülldorf. In both cases, unknown perpetrators forced entry and stole a black Betamotor motorcycle from each shed.
Between March 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM, and March 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM, three more shed break-ins occurred on Hauptstraße in Hassmoor. In two of the sheds, a ride-on lawnmower was stolen from each, while additional cordless garden tools were taken from one of them. From a third shed on the same street, the thief or thieves made off with a green Velo e-bike.
The estimated loss in each case ranges between €2,000 and €5,000.
Police are asking: Did anyone notice suspicious activity during these times? Were there unfamiliar individuals or vehicles near the crime scenes? Homeowners with security cameras on their properties are urged to review their footage and report any suspicious observations to the authorities.
