Sochi woman caught riding pit bike drunk and unlicensed

A 21-year-old woman in Sochi has been stopped by traffic police while riding a pit bike without a licence. Officers noticed signs of intoxication, but she refused to take a medical test when asked. The incident took place after police spotted the woman on an Ataki-branded pit bike. When questioned, she displayed behaviour suggesting she had been drinking. Despite requests, she declined to undergo a breathalyser or medical examination.

The vehicle was immediately seized and taken to a specialised impound lot. Authorities filed an administrative report against her for both driving unlicensed and refusing the alcohol test. She now faces potential penalties under Russian law. These include administrative detention for 10 to 15 days or a fine of up to 45,000 rubles. The case will proceed through local administrative courts.
