Sparkasse Fürth reshapes banking with new hours and digital focus

Sparkasse Fürth is changing how it serves customers, both in branches and online. From June 1, 2026, the bank will adjust its opening hours and expand digital support. The updates come as more people turn to phone and online banking for everyday needs. Starting next summer, branch hours will shift to match when customers actually visit. The bank has noticed fewer people coming in during traditional times, so it is adapting. Despite the changes, face-to-face advice will remain available at all locations.

The bank is also growing its service centre in Zirndorf. Staff there will handle more specialised tasks, helping with complex queries over the phone or online. Customers can now book appointments for in-person consultations any weekday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. For those who prefer digital options, Sparkasse Fürth is improving its online banking tools. The bank reports a steady increase in calls and digital requests, prompting the expansion. It assures customers that even with the adjustments, a branch will always be within a 15-minute drive.

The updates take effect on June 1, 2026, with revised branch hours and stronger digital services. Customers will still have access to in-person advice, while phone and online support will be more robust. The bank aims to balance convenience with personal service as habits continue to evolve.
