T-Mobile’s Tower Upgrade in Lancaster County Sparks Historic Preservation Debate

T-Mobile has proposed to upgrade a utility transmission tower and associated equipment in Landisville, Lancaster County, PA. The proposed site is near Elizabeth St. & Harvey Rd., approximately 150 feet west-northwest. The public is invited to comment on the potential impact this project may have on historic properties.

The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) in Pennsylvania is typically responsible for reviewing such impacts on historic properties near the site, which may be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
