Teen brawl at Augsburg's Königsplatz leaves two injured in escalated dispute

City Center – A verbal altercation at Königsplatz escalated into assault on Thursday (March 26, 2026). Around 8:30 p.m., two 15-year-old girls became involved in a dispute with another girl of the same age. During the confrontation, one of the pair was insulted. The argument later turned physical, with two of the girls sustaining minor injuries in the scuffle.
Police are now investigating the two 15-year-olds on suspicion of insult and assault. Two of the girls hold Ukrainian citizenship, while the third is an Azerbaijani national.
