Teen threatened at knifepoint in Duisburg after refusing money demand
The teenager told officers that a man aged between 50 and 60 had asked him for money to buy a bus ticket. When he refused to hand over the cash, the man pulled out a knife. The minor asked the attacker to put the knife away, saying he was shaking so badly that he couldn't reach his wallet. The assailant complied, and the 14-year-old seized the moment to flee. The unknown man briefly gave chase but then abandoned his pursuit and disappeared.
The suspect is described as having dark skin, short gray hair, and stubble. He was wearing a tight black T-shirt, gray pants, and white Nike shoes.
Duisburg's Criminal Investigation Division 13 has launched an investigation and is seeking witnesses. If you saw the incident, please contact the police.
