Thieves steal moped after breaking into Peine storage unit

A moped has been stolen after thieves broke into a storage unit on Frehenbergstraße. The incident took place sometime between February 15 and March 29, with police now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information. Unknown suspects targeted a garage on Frehenbergstraße before forcing their way into an adjacent storage room. Once inside, they stole a moped, causing damage estimated in the mid-three-figure sum.

Police believe the thieves may have used a vehicle to transport the stolen moped away from the scene.
