Thieves steal €2,000 worth of rare whisky and wine in Duisdorf heist
Thieves have stolen 35 high-value bottles of whisky and wine from a storage area in Duisdorf. Police estimate the stolen goods to be worth between €1,500 and €2,000. Authorities are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any details that could help the investigation.
The break-in took place in a secured storage facility, where the unknown perpetrators made off with the bottles. Investigators suspect the thieves may have used a vehicle to transport the stolen items. Another possibility is that they carried the bottles away in a shopping cart or a glass recycling bin.
Police are still determining whether anything else was taken besides the alcohol. They have asked the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. In particular, anyone who saw unusual individuals or vehicles in the Duisdorf area around the time of the theft is urged to get in touch.
The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to recover the stolen bottles. Authorities have stressed the importance of public cooperation in solving the case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police immediately.
