Violent train station brawl leaves officer injured and suspect charged

A violent brawl broke out at Rodgau's Dudenhofen train station in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Police were called after a dispute between four individuals turned physical, leaving an officer injured and one suspect facing multiple charges.

The confrontation began around 12:30 a.m. between a 20-year-old, a 38-year-old, and two unidentified people. What started as an argument quickly escalated into mutual punches and kicks.

When officers arrived, the 20-year-old allegedly resisted arrest, verbally abused them, and spat in their direction. During the struggle, one officer sustained injuries. The suspect now faces charges of assault, grievous bodily harm, resisting law enforcement, and insulting an officer. Authorities have banned the 20-year-old from the station premises while the investigation continues.
