Volksbank Düsseldorf Krefeld Neuss eG revealed as merged bank's new name

"We are repeatedly asked about the future name of the merged bank," said Stefan Rinsch, a board member of Volksbank Krefeld. To provide clarity on the matter, the supervisory boards and executive teams of both institutions have decided to announce this key provision of the merger agreement ahead of the planned delegate discussions in May. "By adopting the name Volksbank Düsseldorf Krefeld Neuss eG, we emphasize that two banks are coming together as equals, united in a shared metropolitan region to fulfill their mission for members and customers," Rinsch explained.

Christoph Gommans, a board member of Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss, highlighted the emotional significance of a name that resonates with all members: "We want to be the Volksbank for Düsseldorf, Krefeld, and Neuss. This merger allows us to build the collective strength we need to meet future challenges—together, side by side, in close partnership. This message is so important to us that we chose to announce the proposed name, which will be part of the merger agreement, ahead of schedule."

All other terms of the agreement will be presented and discussed in detail during the delegate meetings scheduled for May.
