200 Degrees Coffee names Paul Campbell as new Board Chair amid UK expansion
200 Degrees Coffee Roasters has appointed Paul Campbell as the new Chair of its Board. The Nottingham-based company, known for its coffee subscriptions and wholesale supply, continues to expand across the UK. Campbell brings extensive experience in hospitality and private investment to the role. Founded in 2012 by Rob Darby and Tom Vincent, 200 Degrees Coffee operates 15 shops across the Midlands and northern England. Six of these locations also host barista training schools. The company expanded further in 2021 by opening four new outlets, with more growth planned for 2022.
Paul Campbell, founder of Hill Capital Partners LLP, has a strong background in the leisure and hospitality sectors. He currently holds board positions at Hawksmoor, Hickory’s, Tortilla, The Alchemist, and Yard Sale Pizza. His decision to join 200 Degrees Coffee follows his admiration for its unique market position, growth strategy, and leadership team. Rob Darby, Co-owner and CEO of 200 Degrees Coffee, welcomed Campbell’s appointment. The company’s services include home and office coffee subscriptions, as well as wholesale bean supply to businesses nationwide.
Campbell’s arrival strengthens the company’s leadership as it prepares for further expansion. With 15 existing locations and plans for new openings, 200 Degrees Coffee aims to grow its presence in the UK coffee market. The new Chair’s experience in scaling businesses is expected to support this development.
