In addition to electing the chair, delegates were also chosen for the federal party convention, and state arbitrators were appointed. A proposal to allow members to vote online on potential coalition agreements at the state level was rejected.
In his speech, Schledde emphasized the party's unity, declaring: "We have never been this strong, and this is only the beginning! Today, the AfD in Lower Saxony has shown just how united we are. Our goal is to reach 25 percent." He announced plans to lead the party into the 2026 local elections and to achieve a strong result in next year's state parliamentary elections.
The newly elected executive board includes several members: Jens-Christoph Brockmann, Stephan Bothe, and Vanessa Behrendt as deputy state chairs, along with Peer Lilienthal as state treasurer. Schledde expressed gratitude to the guests from other federal states who attended the conference.
