Astana dismantles illegal trade pavilions in Yessil district crackdown
As part of the "Law and Order" initiative, Astana's Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department, together with the district akimat of Yessil, is carrying out operations to dismantle illegally installed trade pavilions across the district, our website reports, citing the capital's akimat.
"This effort is aimed at regulating street vending, improving the city's appearance, and ensuring compliance with placement standards for commercial facilities. While 225 illegally installed pavilions were removed citywide in 2025, another 15 have been dismantled since the start of 2026," said Adil Kapsalyamov, head of the Trade and Services Development Division at Astana's Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department.
According to organizers, systematic enforcement of legal and sanitary regulations will continue moving forward.
