Berlin subway train windows smashed in suspected vandal attack
Police were alerted to an incident of criminal damage on a subway train in Hellersdorf yesterday afternoon. According to initial findings, the train operator noticed damage to two windows while preparing to change cabs. A witness told the operator that, during the journey between Louis-Lewin-Straße and Hönow stations, one or more unknown individuals had hurled two stones at the windows, completely shattering them. No injuries were reported. The case is now under investigation by a specialized unit of Police Directorate 3 (East).
