Chemnitz leaders gear up for a week of public events and governance
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze and other local officials have a busy week ahead, with several meetings and events scheduled in Chemnitz. The week kicks off with Mayor Ralph Burghart welcoming attendees at the 10th isoGPS News Meeting gala on Tuesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM.
On Wednesday, November 12, Lord Mayor Schulze will hold a public office hour at 4:00 PM in his office at Town Hall. Later that day, he will hand over the keys to the town hall to the carnival societies at 11:11 AM. The Wittgensdorf Local Council will meet at 7:00 PM, while the Röhrsdorf Local Council will gather at 6:30 PM. The Committee for Municipal Enterprises, Environment, and Security will convene at 4:30 PM. Additionally, Dina Norberger, Chemnitz’s Commissioner for Children and Youth, will host an information event on 'Media in Early Childhood' at 5:00 PM.
On Thursday, November 13, Dina Norberger will visit the 'Children’s City' project at 9:00 AM. A press conference will be held on Friday, November 14 at 11:00 AM ahead of the next City Council session.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will also attend the staff assembly of Chemnitz Transport AG (CVAG) on Monday, November 10 at 1:00 PM. The week's events highlight the city's commitment to public engagement, local governance, and supporting children and youth initiatives.
