Controversial high-rise approved behind Krasnoyarsk children’s hospital despite protests
A high-rise building is set to be constructed behind a children's infectious disease hospital in Krasnoyarsk, with the developer seeking exemptions from standard building lines. Public hearings were held, but only nine people attended.
Konstruktiv Development has been granted permission to deviate from building lines on the northeastern and eastern sides of the site on Ulyanovsky Prospect. Despite minor objections, the authorities approved the company's request to exceed standard construction limits. The developer plans to build a high-rise with no setbacks from the property boundaries, which is unusual for the area.
The construction of this high-rise is expected to significantly change the skyline of the area. While some residents raised concerns, the project has been approved, and construction is set to begin soon.
