Ford Pro's E-Transit Custom opens for orders with 327 km range

Ford Pro has started taking orders for its new E-Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom models. The electric transporter offers a practical range of up to 327 kilometres and includes advanced features for businesses. First deliveries across Europe are expected in summer 2024. The E-Transit Custom is designed for efficiency and convenience. It comes with a heat pump as standard, ensuring cabin heating and cooling without draining the battery excessively. A lower cargo floor improves loading capacity and makes access easier, while the vehicle’s towing capacity reaches 2,300 kilograms.

Charging is quick, with the ability to go from 10 to 80 percent in around 39 minutes at up to 125 kW. The model also integrates fully into the Ford Pro ecosystem, helping reduce operating costs for fleet operators. For added versatility, the ‘ProPower’ on-board system provides power outlets for tools and other electric devices. A plug-in hybrid version is also available, featuring a usable battery capacity of 11.8 kWh. This option offers flexibility for businesses transitioning to electric mobility.

The new E-Transit Custom combines range, charging speed, and practical features for commercial use. Orders are now open, with deliveries set to begin in summer 2024. The vehicle’s integration into Ford Pro’s ecosystem aims to cut costs while improving functionality for businesses.
