Four men assaulted in Bielefeld parking lot attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after four men were assaulted in Bielefeld early Sunday morning. The attack happened at around 12:30 a.m. on a parking lot near Eckendorfer Straße and Am Stadtholz. All victims suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital admission. The group consisted of three Bielefeld residents, aged 23, 24, and 27, along with a 23-year-old man from Enger. While on the parking lot, they were approached by the occupants of a dark VW Golf. Four men then got out of the car and began attacking them.

The assailants punched and kicked the victims, with one using pepper spray during the confrontation. After the attack, the suspects fled in the VW Golf, which had Bielefeld licence plates, driving toward Herforder Straße. Witnesses described the attackers as having a Southern European appearance, aged roughly 28 to 32, and dressed in black clothing. One of the suspects was reportedly wearing a white sweater.

The four victims received outpatient treatment for their injuries. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward and contact Criminal Investigation Division 14. The investigation remains ongoing.
