Several protests are expected to cause disruptions in Freiburg's city center on Saturday. On April 25, 2026, two major rallies with marches have been registered.

A demonstration under the slogan "Freedom for Lebanon" will begin at 3 p.m. on Augustinerplatz, with around 300 participants. According to the city, the march will pass through the city center before concluding at its starting point at approximately 5:30 p.m.

At the same time, a protest titled "Save Psychotherapy – Against Cuts in Healthcare" will kick off at 4 p.m. at Stühlinger Kirchplatz, drawing around 200 people. The event will feature a bicycle procession through several districts, ending back at the starting point at around 6:30 p.m.

Traffic delays are possible along both routes, affecting tram services and road traffic, the city has announced. Parking garages will remain accessible.

Additionally, stationary gatherings related to the mayoral election will take place, though the city states these will not impact traffic.
