GCC and NATO explore deeper security ties at Munich talks

Representatives from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and NATO held talks during the 62nd Munich Security Conference. The meeting took place on Saturday and aimed to strengthen ties between the two groups. The discussions centred on improving cooperation for countries in the Southern Neighborhood. Both sides explored ways to deepen their relationship in security and defence matters.

The GCC and NATO also shared views on regional and global issues. Topics included challenges affecting stability in their respective areas of influence.

The talks marked a step toward closer collaboration between the GCC and NATO. Future efforts will likely focus on addressing shared security concerns in the Southern Neighborhood and beyond.
