Goslar's Lutter district hit by another weekend burglary in ongoing crime wave

A single-family home in Goslar's Lutter district was broken into over the weekend. The burglars forced entry between Sunday evening and Monday morning on Über der Kieckwiese street. Police have now launched an investigation into the incident.

The break-in follows a string of similar crimes in the area. Over the past year, 14 burglaries have been reported across the Goslar district since late January. These included incidents in Langelsheim and Lutter, with one occurring on the same street just before 31 March 2026. Another burglary also took place in Goslar on a recent Sunday evening.

This time, the intruders searched through multiple rooms before leaving undetected. Authorities have yet to identify the suspects. Police are asking residents to come forward with any information. Anyone who noticed unusual activity near the property is urged to call +49 5321 3390.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers piece together details of the latest burglary. A 26-year-old suspect was previously arrested in connection with earlier cases. Authorities continue to monitor the situation in the Lutter neighbourhood and surrounding areas.
