Gütersloh prepares for Senior Citizens’ Council election in February 2026
Gütersloh is set to host an informative event about the Senior Citizens' Council on Friday, 10th October. The event, taking place at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM, will focus on the upcoming election of the council on 5th February 2026.
The Senior Citizens' Council, consisting of twelve voting members and six advisory members, meets publicly four times a year. The event will be held in the council chamber at Berliner Straße 70. The council has thematic working groups focusing on mobility, safety, education, crime prevention, digitization, and culture and leisure. Alongside the council, city representatives will discuss its tasks, opportunities, and recent projects. As of now, no specific candidates have been announced for the February 2026 election.
