Hesse local elections set for March 15 with postal voting options

Time is running out to apply for postal ballots. In-person voting remains an option for those who prefer the traditional approach.

Hesse local elections set for March 15 with postal voting options

Local elections in Hesse will take place on Sunday, March 15. Residents of Hünfeld will cast their votes for district councils, the city council, and the district assembly on that day. Voters also have the option to participate by post. Those wishing to vote by post must apply for their ballot materials online. Applications can be submitted through the city’s website or via the link www.wahlschein.de/6631015. The deadline for online requests is Tuesday, March 10, at 1 p.m.

Completed postal ballots must reach the Hünfeld city administration by Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. Any ballots received after this time will not be counted. The election will proceed as scheduled on March 15. Postal voters have until March 14 to return their ballots. In-person voting will be available for those who prefer to cast their vote on the day.
