Braunlage: Hit-and-Run Incident on "Am Brandhai" Street
Hit-and-run in Braunlage leaves Bulgarian BMW with €1,000 in damages
A hit-and-run accident occurred on Thursday in Braunlage's Am Brandhai street, with the driver fleeing the scene. The incident took place sometime between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
According to a police statement, a properly parked black BMW with Bulgarian license plates was reportedly damaged while another vehicle was maneuvering near a driveway. Authorities estimate the damage at around €1,000. The at-fault driver left without fulfilling their legal obligations.

Braunlage police are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with relevant information about the incident is urged to come forward.
