Hundreds march in Mannheim to support Kurdish population in Syria
Around 900 people gathered in Mannheim on Saturday to show support for the Kurdish population in Syria. The demonstration began at Alten Meßplatz and moved through the city centre. The march remained peaceful as it passed through Mannheim’s streets. Participants walked from Alten Meßplatz to Ehrenhof, covering the planned route without incident.
Local authorities temporarily rerouted traffic along the demonstration path. This ensured the event could proceed safely and without disruption. The protest concluded at Ehrenhof. Traffic returned to normal shortly after the march ended. The demonstration highlighted solidarity with the Kurdish community in Syria.
