Komi delegation boosts morale for troops in special operation zone
A delegation from the Republic of Komi has visited troops stationed in the special military operation zone. The group brought supplies, letters, and a symbolic banner to show support for the service members. Local officials and activists took part in the event to boost morale among the personnel.
Yekaterina Dolgova, head of United Russia’s Regional Executive Committee in Komi, led the visit. She personally greeted the troops and handed over essential items. These included camouflage netting, sleeping bags, and food supplies, along with sweets for the soldiers.
The delegation also presented a replica of the Victory Banner, a gesture meant to honour the troops’ service. Stanislav Khakhalkin, the presidential envoy, joined in welcoming the personnel. His presence highlighted the official backing for the initiative. Activists from the Young Guard of United Russia participated as well. They helped deliver greeting cards and letters collected from residents of Komi as part of the *Letter to a Hero* campaign. The messages aimed to show appreciation and solidarity with those on duty.
The visit provided troops with practical supplies and moral support. The letters, banner, and official greetings reinforced ties between the military and the Republic of Komi. The delegation’s efforts focused on recognising the soldiers’ contributions in the operation zone.
