Krasnodar Krai names Stanislav Kamerny as new emergency response minister

Stanislav Kamerny has been appointed as Krasnodar Krai’s new minister of civil defense and emergency situations. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev signed the official order, confirming the promotion. Kamerny, born and educated in the region, brings both legal and engineering expertise to the role. Kamerny was born on October 23, 1992, in Krasnodar. He completed two degrees at Kuban State University: a master’s in law and a qualification in engineering.

His career in civil defense began in 2019 when he joined the krai’s Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Ministry. There, he supervised state oversight for protecting people and territories from emergencies. By July 2024, he had risen to deputy minister, focusing on the Safe City system and automated public safety platforms. Before this, between August 2023 and July 2024, Kamerny served as deputy head of the engineering infrastructure department at the krai’s Ministry of Fuel, Energy, and Housing. His experience spans emergency response, infrastructure oversight, and digital safety initiatives.

The appointment places Kamerny at the head of the region’s emergency response efforts. His background in law, engineering, and civil defense will shape policies for public safety. The role includes managing crisis response systems and further developing automated safety platforms.
