Markus Söder's AZ Talk sells out in 48 hours ahead of Kempten event

An upcoming AZ Talk with Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder has sold out in record time. The event, set for Tuesday, February 10, will take place at Kempten’s Kornhaus at 6:00 PM. Organisers confirmed all seats were booked within just 48 hours of registration opening. The evening will feature a wide-ranging discussion on key issues, including economic policy, conscription, and asylum reform. Söder will also share personal insights during the talk. Moderating the session will be Markus Raffler, editor-in-chief of the Allgäuer Zeitung, alongside Helmut Kustermann, editor of the Allgäu Rundschau and a member of the AZ editorial board.

For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available on the event’s webpage. Access requires a one-time registration using a customer number, open to both AZ+ subscribers and daily newspaper readers. The stream comes at no additional cost for eligible subscribers. After the live event, a full video recording will be posted online. Highlights and coverage will also appear in the following day’s print edition of the Allgäuer Zeitung.

The sold-out AZ Talk reflects strong public interest in Söder’s perspectives on current political and personal matters. Attendees will hear directly from the minister-president, while subscribers can follow along via the free livestream or later through the recorded video and newspaper coverage.
