Masked gunmen rob Berlin convenience store in late-night raid

In the early hours of last night, two unidentified assailants robbed a late-night convenience store in Berlin's Hellersdorf district. According to investigators, the masked suspects entered the shop on Alte Hellersdorfer Straße at around 12:40 a.m. While one of the attackers threatened a 23-year-old employee and a customer with a firearm, ordering them to step away from the counter, the other stole multiple packs of cigarettes. The robbers then fled the scene with their loot, joining a third accomplice in a waiting car before driving off toward Zossener Straße.
The case is now being investigated by a specialized unit under Directorate 3 (East).
