Lower Saxony police seek witnesses after campsite vandalism and thefts

A series of incidents across Lower Saxony has left police seeking public help. Over the past two weeks, porch tents at a campsite near Ottermeer in Wiesmoor were slashed with a sharp object. Meanwhile, a hit-and-run in Norden damaged a parked car, and an e-bike was stolen from a supermarket car park in Südbrookmerland overnight into Friday.

The first incident took place at a campsite near Ottermeer, where several porch tents were deliberately cut with a sharp object. Authorities have asked anyone with information to come forward.

In Norden, a gray Opel was damaged in a hit-and-run along Addinggaster Weg. The incident happened between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Thursday. Police are now urging witnesses to contact them with details. Separately, a black KTM e-bike was stolen from a grocery store parking lot in Südbrookmerland. The theft occurred between 8:00 PM and 12:30 AM on Friday. Officers are also appealing for information regarding this case.

Police investigations into all three incidents are ongoing. Anyone with details about the porch tent damage, the hit-and-run, or the stolen e-bike is asked to contact local authorities. The public’s assistance could help resolve these cases.
