Mathnasium climbs to No. 97 on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 with global expansion

Mathnasium Learning Centers has climbed to No. 97 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for the first half of 2025. The company’s rapid growth comes as demand for additional math education and STEM career preparation continues to rise. In the first six months of 2025, Mathnasium signed 51 new franchise agreements. It also opened 42 new centres globally, including its 100th international location in the UK. Expansion into Romania has already begun, with further plans for Saudi Arabia, Australia, Mexico, and additional UK sites.

The company has upgraded its technology platform with new operational tools and improved family communication features. CEO Tyler Sgro credits the brand’s success to a method that delivers measurable results in a supportive setting. Chief Development Officer Kevin Shen points to the specialised and proven educational model as the driver of growth.

Customer satisfaction remains high, with a Net Promoter Score above 80. This reflects strong academic progress and positive feedback from families using the service. Mathnasium’s expansion and high rankings demonstrate its increasing influence in supplemental education. The company’s focus on math skills and student confidence continues to attract franchise partners and families worldwide.
