Pia Grahn to Elevate Nordic and Baltic Creativity at LIA

Pia Grahn has been named the Nordic and Baltic Representative for the London International Awards (LIA). The organisation is one of the world’s most respected festivals for creative excellence in advertising, design, and digital media. Grahn will now lead efforts to boost the region’s presence on the global stage. Grahn brings years of experience in agency leadership and marketing. Most recently, she worked as Marketing and Communications Director at Citycon. Her role at LIA will focus on raising awareness and increasing participation from Nordic and Baltic creatives.

She will build stronger ties with agencies, brands, and industry professionals in the region. A key goal is to grow the number of award entries from Nordic and Baltic markets. Additionally, she will push for better representation of local talent on LIA’s international juries.

LIA’s judging for the 2025 awards will take place in Las Vegas this autumn. The results will feed into the WARC Creative 100 ranking, which highlights the most awarded campaigns, agencies, and networks worldwide. Barbara Levy, President of LIA, has emphasised the need to showcase more work from the Nordics and Baltics.

Grahn has expressed pride in taking on this position. She aims to help the region’s creative work gain wider recognition through LIA’s global platform. The appointment strengthens LIA’s connection to the Nordic and Baltic creative communities. Grahn’s work will focus on submissions, jury representation, and industry engagement. The results will influence global rankings and visibility for the region’s advertising and design sectors.
